Bakersfield Paper talks about 1st all-female fusion trio performing at
The Breakfast Table Sessions!
"Enjoy this performance by Las Caliope. Meet Bakersfield’s 1st all-female fusion trio, the trios elements consist of a violin, guitarron, vihuela & is also alternated with a steel-acoustic guitar! Previously before Las Caliope each woman was the only female in their mariachi ensemble, though they only knew very little of one another at the time but with their combined talents they all embarked on a musical journey. They started rehearsing together in January 2021 during the COVID Pandemic. They incorporate many styles of genres such as Country, Classical, Pop, Mariachi & Cumbias! Together these lovely ladies are the Soul, Heart & Voice of Las Calíope!"
